It's authors, Bill, American and Maria, Colombian, are a young couple living in New York. They are both designers and founded Uhuru Design with some other international friends, and it's interior design is modern and minimalist, making use of wood, metal and glass. They don't just design interiors, but furniture and are the creators of an unique and comfortable style, thought up on a cosmopolitan lifestyle.
It's "Kittyloft", as they call it, was built for their two cats, since they enjoyed running and high grounded sites. Here you can see how it wonderfully interacts with the home decor. The color was chosen to mingle with the room, bringing it an additional element of style and design, and it's dept was cut short so that it wouldn't steal precious area.

Just pay attention on how these two have a blast, checking out for what's up or just resting above all stress:

It ends on the kitchen cabinets, where it has a bed, for an additional place to rest. From there they usually jump down via refrigerator and kitchen counter, and it isn't strange seeing them back on the yellow road, just running, and having fun with each other.
Thus, besides it's decorative look, it provides an extra exercise lane, which is what you need to give for a perfect cat care, as exercise and exploring paths are fundamental for cats who are mainly indoors, and thus have less chances to be active.
